Who we are

GoodDeath.in is the editorial publication of Dr. Nirmalya Ranjan Sarkar (“Dr. NRS”). Books, PDFs, and digital toolkits are published and sold by Zoe Publications, a separate publishing entity. Veterinary consultations are offered by Dr. NRS personally.

Editorial content is reference, not advice

Everything on the blog and in the free PDFs is editorial reference material. It is researched, vet-written, and intended to support owners and clinicians making decisions in their own context.

It is not a substitute for veterinary examination, diagnosis, or treatment. We will not diagnose your animal. We will not prescribe medication. We will not recommend euthanasia for any individual case based on what you read here.

For animal-specific decisions, consult your treating vet. For a clinical-ethical second opinion, you can book a consultation; the consultation does not constitute veterinary practice on your animal — it supports the conversation you will have with your vet.

Products you buy

  • Digital products are sold by Zoe Publications via Gumroad (globally) and Razorpay (India).
  • 30-day refund, no questions asked. Email hello@gooddeath.in with the order number.
  • Personal use only. You may print for your household and household-equivalent use. You may not redistribute, resell, or post our products to file-sharing sites.
  • Free updates for the version-life of each product. We notify buyers when a substantive revision is published.

Consultations you book

  • Consultations are clinical-ethical advisory, not veterinary practice. Dr. NRS will not diagnose or prescribe.
  • Sessions run 45 minutes. Pre-call brief reading time of approximately 15 minutes is included.
  • Refund available before the call begins, no questions asked.
  • Recorded only with your explicit consent. The recording is for your reference, not for publication.

Intellectual property

Editorial content on this site, the design system, and the digital products are © 2026 GoodDeath.in / Zoe Publications. Personal printing and personal sharing of free resources are permitted; commercial reuse, mass redistribution, or republication require written permission. Email us; we say yes more often than not for editorial and educational reuse.

Acceptable use

By using this site, you agree:

  • Not to scrape the site for redistribution or training of commercial AI systems without our written consent.
  • Not to misrepresent yourself in any form submission.
  • Not to share another person\u2019s information through our forms without their consent.

Liability

We exclude liability to the maximum extent permitted by Indian law for any loss arising from reliance on editorial content alone in the absence of veterinary examination of the specific animal. For paid products, our maximum liability is limited to the price you paid.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes, if any, fall within the jurisdiction of the courts at the city of registration of Zoe Publications.

We may revise these terms. Substantive changes will be notified via the newsletter and reflected in the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
