GoodDeath.in (“we,” “us”) is operated as the editorial home of Dr. NRS, with digital products published by Zoe Publications. This policy describes what personal information we collect, why, and how we handle it.

What we collect

  • Email address — only if you subscribe to our newsletter or download a free PDF that requires it (currently none of our PDFs require it).
  • Name and email — if you fill the consult brief form or book a 1-on-1 consultation.
  • Payment information — handled by Razorpay (India) or Gumroad (global). We do not see, store, or process your card details. We see only the order summary returned to us by those providers.
  • Anonymous analytics — page views, time on page, country-level location, device class. Via Google Analytics 4. Aggregated; not linked to identity unless you have separately given consent.

Why we collect it

  • To send you the newsletter you asked for.
  • To deliver the digital products you bought.
  • To respond to your consultation request.
  • To understand which essays are useful so we can write more of those.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not share your email with third parties for their marketing.
  • We do not run targeted-advertising pixels (Facebook Pixel, etc.) on this site.
  • We do not link analytics data to your subscriber identity unless you have given specific consent.

Third-party processors we use

  • MailerLite — to send newsletters. Their privacy policy applies to data you submit through subscribe forms.
  • Gumroad — for global digital sales (operated by Zoe Publications).
  • Razorpay — for India-based digital sales (operated by Zoe Publications).
  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymous traffic measurement.
  • Hostinger — our hosting provider; receives standard server logs.

Cookies

We set strictly necessary cookies for site function and analytics cookies via Google Analytics 4. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. If your browser is configured to block analytics cookies, the site will function normally.

Your rights

  • Access — you can ask us what data we hold about you.
  • Deletion — you can ask us to delete it. Subject to limited exceptions for tax records of completed purchases (which we are required to retain for the period prescribed by Indian tax law).
  • Correction — if any data we hold about you is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
  • Unsubscribe — every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer.
